DAY 1 : CASABLANCA / CASABLANCA
For the first day of our tour from Casablanca, we will start by picking you up at your preferred meeting location (hotel, airport…) then the real fun can begin! We will give you a tour of the most important historical monuments of Morocco’s economical capital, starting with Hassan II mosque. This mosque is a stunning piece of Islamic architecture, built at the edge of the Moroccan Atlantic coast, making it the very trademark of the city.
After that, we will take you to a charming quarter called Habous, where a market for artisanal products takes place. You will get to walk around the quiet and picture perfect streets of the souk, then we will head to the corniche to enjoy the sea breeze as a well as a plate of fresh seafood for lunch. You will spend the night at a local hotel.
DAY 2 : CASABLANCA / RABAT / CHEFCHAOUEN
Today on our Tour From Casablanca, you will have breakfast at you hotel in Casablanca, then we will travel to our next destination which Rabat city. Rabat is the administrative capital of the kingdom, and in here we will visit many important landmarks such as: the Oudaya Kasbah, the Chellah necropolis and the Hassan tower.
After we are done with that, we will start heading north towards the famous “Blue town” Chefchaouen.th road trip there will include many cities and towns such as Kenitra and Ouazzane, before we’ll finally arrive at Chefchaouen where we will be spending the night.
DAY 3 : CHEFCHAOUEN / CHEFCHAOUEN
This day of the Tour from Casablanca, will be spent enjoying the beauty of the blue town of Chefchaouen. Chefchaouen is famous for its iconic blue colored buildings that give the city a unique charm and make it a picture perfect background.
As you’ll wander through the narrow streets of the old Medina, you will see how every house and every little is kept clean and decorated, which goes to show how much the locals care about the aesthetic of their town. We will, of course, guide you through the historical monuments of this city, as well as give the freedom to explore it on your own.
Finally, you will have dinner and spend the night at the same accommodation as the night before.
DAY 4 : CHEFCHAOUEN / VOLUBILIS / MEKNES / FES
The next day of the tour from Casablanca, we will have breakfast then leave Chefchaouen in the direction of the imperial Fez city. On our way there, we will first drive through the magnificent Riff Mountains, before arriving at Volubilis town. Volubilis is an important archeological site since it used to be a Roman city back during the 3rd century BC. After exploring the well-preserved roman ruins, we will move on to Meknes city, where we will have a tour of the city’s finest monuments.
This includes the famous Bab Mansour (known to be one of the finest gates in all of Morocco), the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail and the city’s Old Medina district. Finally, we will head straight to Fez which we will reach by the evening.
DAY 5 : FES / FES
For the next day of our tour tour from Casablanca, we will explore everything that the spiritual capital of Morocco has to offer. In fact, Fez was the first ever imperial city founded by an Islamic dynasty in Morocco, hence why it’s considered a spiritual and holy capital. We will walk through the narrow streets of Fez’s old Medina, in order to learn more about the traditions and customs of locals, and discover the wide range of artisanal products displayed by craftsmen.
Our tour will also include, the colorful Chouara leather tanneries, and a variety of buildings showcasing the finest Arabo-Islamic architecture. After we are done with that we will explore the Jewish quarter “Mellah” as well as the modern part of the city, before finally returning to our hotel or Riad.
DAY 6 : FES / IFRAN / CEDAR FOREST / MIDELT
Today we will begin our journey towards Morocco’s Sahara Desert, driving through the Middle Atlas mountains in our comfortable private car. This will allow you to appreciate all the scenery from mountains to rivers to scattered small villages.
We will first stop by the beautiful Ifrane town, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco”, then at the cedar forests of Azrou in order to interact with the wild monkeys that live there. We will have lunch, then continue our scenic drive through the lush green villages, until we finally arrive at Midelt town where we will spend the night.
DAY 7 : ZIZ VALLEY / ERFOUD / ERR CHEBBI, SAHARA, CAMEL RIDE
After having a traditional breakfast in Midelt, we will head to Erfoud town (famous for holding an annual festival every November). A short drive from Erfoud, we will finally reach Merzouga, which is the gateway town to the Moroccan desert. In compliance with customs, you will be welcomed with a cup of traditional mint tea at the hotel where you will be staying.
After resting from the long trip, you’ll have the possibility of having dinner with a local Nomad family if you want to, which will allow to better understand the nomad culture and lifestyle. After that, the moment you’ve been anticipating will finally arrive; you will get to ride a camel and wander through the endless desert dunes of Erg Chebbi. Take your time to enjoy this priceless experience, as the sun is setting, before we arrive at our nomad style camp where we will spend the night.
DAY 8 : MERZOUGA / MERZOUGA
This next morning of the tour from Casablanca, we will all wake up in time to admire the sun rising and casting her beautiful colors on the desert dunes, then we will head out to the nearby Khamlia village. Khamlia is important for its rich history, and many people visit it nowadays to get a chance to experience the genuine Gnaoua music played by its masters.
After that, we will roam free through the endless desert dunes, meeting Nomad families and spending time with them to learn more about their lifestyle. We will continue exploring all the exciting things that the desert has to offer, such as Dayet Serji Lake, Yasmina Lake, Hassi Labied village and more. Finally, we will return to our Merzouga hotel to have dinner and spend the night.
DAY 9 : MERZOUGA / ARFOUD / TOUDGHA GORGES / DADES GORGES
During this day of the tour from Casablanca, we will wake up early to pay one last visit to the town of Erfoud, before we start driving towards the famous Todra Gorges. On the way there we will pass by the towns of Rissani and Tinghir before finally reaching our destination. The site, where we will also have lunch, is known for its 300 meters high gorges that attract people from all over the world.
We can hike around the valley or simply walk along the Todra River, the experience will be just as interesting regardless. Finally, we will head to our final destination of the day: the Dades Valley where we will have dinner and spend the night at a hotel.
10 : DADES / BOUTGHRAR / KELAA M’GOUNA / OUARZAZATE
After having breakfast while enjoying the landscape at the Dades Valley, we will begin our journey towards Ouarzazate “The Hollywood of Morocco”. We will start by driving through a road known as the “road of a Thousand Kasbahs”, in which you will get to discover wonderful scenery from the south of Morocco. The road will lead us to a city called Kalaat Mgouna, situated in the blooming valley of roses. After passing by Skoura city, we will stop by the historical Kasbah of Ameridil before finally arriving at Ouarzazate where we will spend the night.
DAY 11 : AIT BEN HDDOU / TIZI N’TISHKA / ESSAOUIRA
After breakfast, we will visit the famous UNESCO world heritage site: the historical Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, where many important international movies were shot (such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, the Mummy…). Following that, we will drive to another nearby Kasbah, the Kasbah of Telouet to enjoy a Moroccan lunch in the middle of a Berber village. Finally, we will head straight to Essaouira city, by driving through the High Atlas Mountains (specifically the Tizin Tichka pass). We will arrive at Essaouira in the evening, and we will have dinner and spend the night at a local Riad.
DAY 12 : EXPLORE THE GORGEOUS CITY OF ESSOUIRA
Today you will explore this charming coastal town, by walking along the historical rampart “Skala” that was established by the Portuguese a long time ago. You must also discover the wonderful craftsmanship unique to Essaouira, that’s displayed in the city’s Old Medina (considered a UNESCO world heritage site).
Another part of the city that you shouldn’t miss would be the Jewish quarter “Mellah”. For lunch, you will get to try the local fresh seafood cuisine, then you will have the rest of the day to freely enjoy the city. We suggest catching a spot a café or restaurant with a panoramic view and just enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Finally, you will spend the night at the same accommodation as the night before.
DAY 13 : ESSAOUIRA / MARRAKECH
After having breakfast and saying our goodbyes to the beautiful Essaouira, we will start heading towards Marrakech: “the Red city”. On our way there we will drive by the famous Moroccan Argan tree, which are very important to support the area and its locals. This will lead to our first stop of the day, which will be at a local all-women Argan oil co-operative.
In here you will get to learn more about the benefits and different application for the oil, but also about how the Argan business supports and empowers the women of the region. Finally, we will arrive at Marrakech just in time for lunch, after which we will get to the traditional Riad where you will be staying (located in the old Medina). You will be free to spend the afternoon however you choose, before coming back to spend the night at the Riad.
DAY 14 : MARRAKECH / MARRAKECH
Today on our tour from Casablanca, will be very eventful, because we will be touring the famous Marrakech. We will start by visiting some very important locations such as, the charming Bahia Palace, the Menara gardens, the Saadian tombs (a dynasty that used to rule Morocco, which took Marrakech as its capital), and the Koutoubia mosque.
At this point during the day, we will return to our Riad to enjoy a traditional delicacy for lunch. Then we will continue our tour, this time hitting the old Medina part of the city with its colorful souks and narrow streets. As the sun starts to set, we will explore the famous Jamaa El Fna square and enjoy the traditional street arts there, before finding a spot at a terrace café to have dinner before returning to our Riad.
DAY 15 : LAST MINUTE SHOPPING / MARRAKESH
