This would be the first day of our desert tour from Casablanca, in which we will first visit some of Casablanca’s iconic historical monuments such as the Hassan II mosque (an architectural masterpiece). After lunch in the city, we will drive to Volubilis next, passing by the old imperial capital Meknes. Volubilis is an important archeological site, since it used to be a Roman city.
After exploring the well-preserved roman ruins, we will finally head to Fes city where we will have dinner and spend the night at either a hotel or a Riad.

In fact, Fes was the first ever imperial city founded by an Islamic dynasty in Morocco, hence why it’s considered a spiritual and holy capital. We will walk through the narrow streets of Fes’ old Medina, in order to learn more about the traditions and customs of locals, and discover the wide range of artisanal products displayed by craftsmen.

After waking up in the desert, we will have breakfast at the hotel then head out to the nearby Khamlia village. After that, we will roam free through the endless desert dunes, meeting Nomad families and spending time with them to learn more about their lifestyle.
Finally, we will ride our camels through the sunset and head to the desert camp where we will be spending the night. You will enjoy a cozy atmosphere around a campfire and under the starry night sky, followed by a mouthwatering dinner before sleeping in our tents.
